We believe in the One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As 1 Corinthians 8:6 declares “yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist”. This foundational truth shapes our understanding of creation, redemption, and the purpose of life.

We hold the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and conduct. It serves as our compass, guiding our curriculum, shaping our values, and illuminating our path. As 2 Timothy 3:16-17 proclaims, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the sole mediator between God and humanity. Through His perfect life, sacrificial death, and glorious resurrection, He offers forgiveness of sins and eternal life to all who repent and put their faith in Him. John 3:16 beautifully articulates this truth: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells and empowers believers, transforming their lives from the inside out. He guides us into all truth, convicts us of sin, and equips us to live in accordance with God’s will. As Galatians 5:22-23 states, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”

We believe love is the greatest commandment and the essence of the Christian faith. We strive to cultivate a community of love and respect, reflecting the love of Christ to one another and the world around us. 1 John 4:7-8 exhorts us, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

We believe education is a lifelong pursuit, fueled by a desire to know God more deeply and serve Him more effectively. We encourage our students to develop a love for learning, critical thinking skills, and a desire to apply their knowledge to make a positive impact on the world. Proverbs 18:15 reminds us, “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge”.

We believe that God calls us to use our gifts and talents to serve Him and our fellow human beings. We aim to equip our students to become responsible citizens, compassionate leaders, and active participants in building a more just and loving world. Micah 6:8 beautifully summarizes this calling: “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

This statement of faith serves as a guiding light for our Ohana Prep Academy. It is our anchor in times of uncertainty and our inspiration to cultivate a vibrant learning environment where students can grow in knowledge, faith, and character, becoming lifelong learners and faithful servants of Christ.

Leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of tomorrow.
